Enrolments Click below to download Enrolments Welcome to O'Connor Primary School. Thank you for considering our school to enrol your child/children in. The application form is an editable PDF. Once completed, it can be emailed to the school where it will be processed. Alternatively, it can be hand delivered to the front office between 8.30am and 3.30pm. Once the application form has been received you will be contacted and if required, sent an enrolment pack through the mail. Please ensure that you have a copy of your child/children’s birth certificate and immunisation record available to be sighted by staff. If you have any questions, please feel free to call us! School Board As an Independent Public School, O’Connor Primary School is required to have a School Board of school parents, staff and community representatives. The School Board held its first meeting at the end of Term One, 2011. The Principal remains responsible for the educational leadership, operation and management of the school. To maximise the input of the School Board in developing school policies, the Principal will seek advice and receive recommendations from the School Board. To enable the School Board to function effectively, the Principal will report regularly to the School Board on the school’s progress. OPS’s performance as an Independent School was reviewed by an independent panel in 2020 (which occurs triannually). The review is available to the public. A school business plan is ratified by the board every three years. The current plan and review can be accessed below. The Education Act and regulations pertaining to the act which applies to the current School Council will govern the running of the School Board. Book Fair The Scholastic Book Fair will be held in the library between Tuesday 19th and Friday 22nd November. All classes will be rostered to go to the Library some time during that week to see what books are available for purchase. Students may then bring home a wish list. Parents are able to purchase books, but are under no obligation to do so. Parents are able to come along and visit the Book Fair before and after school, if they would like. Positive Behaviour Support Key Principles O’Connor Primary School has the Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) expectations embedded in our culture. 1/67 Anchor 1 Colour Fun Run A huge thank you to the P&C for arranging this fantastic event. As promised, it was a very exciting event full of fun! Each year level was assigned a half hour time slot to go out onto the oval and join in the run. There was a set path around the oval with various obstacles/challenges along the way. There were particular points for students to be sprayed with coloured powder. A big thank you to the sponsors for sponsoring this event. BACK
