Teaching Staff
O'Connor Primary is fortunate to have a range of teachers with varying experiences. We are blessed with graduate teachers and enjoy the benefits of experienced teachers. Some teachers are specially trained in a particular area, such as Early Childhood, Physical Education or Arts, while others generalise in primary teaching. All teaching staff are dedicated and committed to the learning and development of children at O'Connor Primary School.

Please see individual class pages for teaching staff.

Teacher Assistants

Students are supported in the classroom by a group of trained and enthusiastic classroom assistants. There are two groups of assistants that work at O'Connor Primary.
Special Needs Assistants work to support students with a diagnosed special need or disability. They work one on one with the child, but may also support other children in the classroom under the direction of the teacher.

Early Childhood Assistants work with the classroom teacher to help all children as well as assisting the teacher to prepare for the day. All Kindy and PrePrimary classrooms have a Teacher Assistant assigned to the classroom. There are also Primary Teacher Assistants who support Year 1 to 6 classrooms.

Please see individual class pages for Education Assistant staff.

The AIEOs can be seen at many events around the school as well as in the classrooms. They welcome parent comments, thoughts and concerns.
